Kan-ban Program
When demand is difficult to forecast and lead-time is lengthy, the best one can do is to respond quickly to the needed demand. This is where a Kanban Program can help. This program is used to ensure that immediate stocks are replenished with little to no lead-time. This allows our customers to RUN LEANER while still MAINTAINING INVENTORY LEVELS FOR PRODUCTION.
Blanket Orders
A Blanket Order is a purchase order which contains multiple delivery dates scheduled over a period of time at a predetermined price. Blanket orders favor DISCOUNT PRICING through volume commitments, dispenses our customers of holding large inventories and serves to stabilize supply. In addition, blanket orders simplifies purchasing because it reduces the number of purchase orders to one (1), avoiding the administrative expense of processing frequent purchase orders. Blanket orders work as a COST REDUCTION and PROFIT IMPROVEMENT tool for our customers.
Consignment Program
A Consignment Program is a customer managed inventory program that gives our customer the ability to access, maintain, control and replenish their inventory. This programs rests on our customers ability to have visibility and access of not only their inventory but also the inventory of their supplier (North Easton Machine). This information, along with pre-set minimum/maximum inventory parameters, allows a consignment program to generate automatic replenishment orders. It's an efficient operation for not only our customers but also North Easton Machine, who is better able to manage production accordingly.
Ship to Stock
A Ship to Stock program is a way to more efficiently and economically handle incoming material. The basic premise of a Ship to Stock program is a high degree of confidence on the supplier's ability to deliver quality parts on time. North Easton Machine has the proper controls in place to do just that! With our ISO:9001 certification, process controls, capabilities and inspection/management systems, we are able to continuously provide a quality product on time!
